The sunlight beamed through my garage as it always does in the late evening. The brilliance and warmth of the light enthralled my imagination as I happened to be going through things in my garage, organizing, and cleaning as I heard the familiar neighborhood dogs barking and chasing each other. I have noticed how almost every dog out here is a Datson like our dog “Brownie”. Then I started thinking about how Brownie loves Taco Bell. I keep telling him that he has to cut back on the tacos because no one likes a fat datson but he doesn’t believe me…I digress. Anyways (back to my artwork) I have a place where I keep my older works and as I cleaned I felt the compelling urge to go through my vintage work and I am glad I did. Many memories rushed through my mind from combat in Iraq, to capers in Germany, and even to the time when my first daughter was only about five years old and walking the beautiful Western Kentucky University campus. I hope you enjoy these works as much as I do and keep checking out my blogs as I update them frequently…
