Thank you for visiting my blog. I recently ran into a friend who had seen a recent mural that I painted for a homeowner in Copperas Cove, Texas. I painted the mural on one weekend starting early in the morning on a Saturday and working through the night until Sunday at lunch. The lady had hired me to work on this mural for her husband who is an avid New York Yankees fan while he had to be away for business.
I learned later that this husband was WOWED when he walked into his office expecting the same old white walls. I am sure many conversations have been started by this work and it has been one of my favorite projects.
This mural is of the newer stadium and very detailed to include thousands of people in the stands and scores and specific players on the large viewing screens. When walking in the room you really get the sense that you are really there and the transformation of the room is remarkable.
I also painted a New York Yankees logo on the adjacent wall that ties everything together.
